Three Creative Writing Prompts for Valentine'south Day

The Valentine's Day flavor provides a corking time for students to do their writing in a creative format! Check out these creative writing ideas for Valentine's Day!

Create a Eye Character

Give students a heart template and have them turn the heart into a artistic graphic symbol by adding a face up, pilus, wear, and accessories.

Students can then give their heart characters a proper name and make a character sketch to use for writing an original story that takes place on Valentine'southward Day. Students can share their character creations with minor groups or the form. Consider having students pair up and use their ii different characters to inspire a new story. Make a Valentine for Your Favorite Character

For this activity, students will create a Valentine's Day card for a favorite, fictional grapheme. The menu should appeal to the character, and students should focus their bulletin to the character on why they similar about the character.

Students can consider the following questions:

  • What exercise you like well-nigh this character?

  • How did this character affect you lot?

  • What would yous like to say to this character?

  • What would you like to thank this character for?

Candy Heart Message or Story

Give students an assortment of candy hearts with messages on them. So, take students create a Valentine's letter with the claiming of integrating three-v candy hearts into their bulletin.
